Elite genetics, stress-free pastures

Sourced from elite full-blood Japanese Wagyu genetics, 2GR cattle are raised across the fertile regions of New South Wales and Queensland. Carefully nurtured in stress-free environments, they begin on natural pastures before transitioning to a specialised grain-fed program lasting over 400 days.

This meticulous approach delivers exceptional marbling, flavour and consistency in every cut — a luxurious, melt-in-your-mouth eating experience defined by its signature buttery richness.

Grading

Consistently 9+ marbling

Australia uses the AUS-MEAT marbling system, ranging from 0 (no marbling) to 9+ (extraordinary marbling). The scores align directly with the Japanese BMS scale — Australia simply groups everything above 9 into the 9+ category. 2GR Fullblood Wagyu consistently reaches the highest level, achieving 9+ marbling scores.
